Frederic Giron is in charge of the Services Research Practice, India Research Center and Middle East and Africa (MEA) region for Springboard Research. He brings a wealth of research experience in consulting, custom research, market sizing and syndicated research.

At Springboard, he is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the company’s IT Services practice, with an aim to provide better market insights to clients. He is primarily involved in expanding and developing the research coverage of the APAC IT Services market and development of APAC- and MEA-based research and consulting accounts. As the operational head of Springboard’s India office, he is also responsible for managing ongoing research projects, internal communications, management and team-building efforts at Springboard India.

Prior to joining Springboard Research, Frederic’s role as a Research Director at Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC) included development and maintenance of market models and forecasting methodologies on Software and IT Services markets, including the management of research activities for Southern Europe. He has also conducted numerous bespoke consulting engagements such as strategic consulting, positioning, and benchmarking for European providers and end-users of IT services. He has been the project manager for highly visible European research projects such as EITO, and the “Economic and Social impact of Software and Software based Services in Europe” project for the European Commission’s DG INFSO. Before PAC, he worked as a SAP consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Frederic has a Masters degree in Electronics and Project Management from ENSEEIHT Toulouse, France. He is fluent in English and French, and speaks conversational German and Spanish.
